Biography

Professor Isabel Martins is an Associate Professor in Human Resource Management (HRM) the Interim Academic Leader Research & Higher Degrees at the School of Management, IT and Governance. She holds a Bachelor of Arts, a Bachelor of Arts Honours in English Literature, Communication Sciences and Portuguese Literature and a Masters from the University of South Africa. As well as a PhD from the University of Lisbon.

She has supervised to completion several Masters and Doctoral students and is a reviewer for various international peer-reviewed journals. She has over 100 publications which include articles published in international, peer-reviewed journals, chapters in edited books and international conference proceedings.

Professor Martins also serves as a member of International Accreditation Agencies for Higher Education.
